I taught beginner quilting classes and various workshops from 1998 to 2004.  I'm hoping to get back to teaching soon, probably based at my home studio. 

Workshop - 'Carve your own Rubber Stamps'

2 – 3 hr (15 students max)
No experience required.
Would you like to have a set of alphabet or alefbet stamps in your own personal style? Michèle has perfected a technique for making small rubber stamps that she will gladly share with you. (materials fee)

Workshop - 'Over and Under'

6 hr (15 students max)
Level: Confident beginner, familiar with the sewing machine.
This original design is a great pattern for kids’ quilts. Pick a large scale directional print and let the fabric do the work for you.

“Taking classes with famous quilters and retaining your own voice”
Michèle has taken lots of classes with famous quilters and she has learned a lot from them.  Learn her approach to taking classes without becoming a famous-quilter clone.

Trunk Show - 'Introduction to Art Quilts'

Michèle takes you from her first experience in quiltmaking (traditional handwork) through a transition period to art quilting. Learn what an art quilt is and how you can expand your horizons. Good for guilds with a predominantly traditional approach or for non-quilters who would like to learn about art quilts.
